SUMMARY:Teaching to Excellence 2024
DESCRIPTION:Teaching to Excellence is the annual Chamber of Commerce Event dedicated to honoring new teachers in the community.  This year's Summa Cum Laude Sponsor is AdventHealth Riverview.  Teaching to Excellence is a vibrant and heartwarming occasion that fosters collaboration between local businesses and educational institutions.  Teachers and administrators will arrive at the following designated times:\n\n\n\n        High School Teachers and Administrators - 8:00 AM - 8:30 AM\n\n        Middle School Teachers and Administrators - 8:30 AM - 9:00 AM\n\n        Elementary Teachers and Administrators - 9:00 AM - 9:30 AM\n\n\n\nThe event will officially begin with a warm welcome from the Chamber of Commerce President & CEO\, Ny'Kole Krivda\, followed by a short welcome from the Event Chair\, Jeff Campbell with Campbell & Clark Accounting & CFO Services.  \n\n\n\nChamber Business Members will have tables throughout the venue\, each stocked with a variety of school supplies.  Please see the Sign Up Genius below to select the school supply item you would like to provide as a supply stop.  Each teacher will receive a tote bag in which to carry their supplies. Select Resource Tables will be set up by Member Educational Organizations and Nonprofits with information about their services.\n\n\n\nTeachers will also receive a raffle ticket with an opportunity to win a fabulous gift basket donated by Member Businesses.  \n\n\n\nThis Chamber of Commerce Event not only supplies teachers with the materials they need for a successful start to the school year\, but also strengthens the bond between the business community and local schools\, ensuring a supportive environment for education and educators to thrive.\n\n\n\nEvent Chair:  Jeff Campbell\, Campbell & Clark Accounting & CFO Services
