Join us for an evening of holiday cheer, community spirit, and festive fun! We look forward to celebrating the season with you at the 23rd Annual Winthrop Christmas Tree Lighting & Holiday Market.
Event Highlights:
1. Tree Lighting Ceremony
- Time: 6:00 PM
- Description: Gather around the beautifully decorated holiday tree in the middle of the holiday market. The ceremony will begin with a countdown, with Santa himself lighting up the tree.
2. Live Performers on Stage
- Time: 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
- Location: Main Stage
- Description: Enjoy a variety of live performances throughout the evening. Local performers, dance troupes, and school choirs will perform holiday classics and lively tunes to get everyone in the festive spirit.
3. Vendor Market
- Time: 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM
- Description: Stroll through the vendor market featuring a wide array of local artisans and businesses. From handmade crafts and holiday decorations to unique gifts and delicious seasonal treats, you?re sure to find something special for everyone on your list. Enjoy the warm, festive ambiance as you shop.
4. Kid Game Zone
- Time: 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM
- Description: The Kid Game Zone is packed with fun activities and games for children of all ages. Features include holiday-themed carnival games and a craft station where kids can make their own ornaments.
5. Santa Workshop for Photos
- Time: 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
- Description: Bring the little ones to meet Santa Claus at his cozy workshop. Kids can share their holiday wishes and take memorable photos with Santa. The workshop is beautifully decorated, providing a magical backdrop for your holiday snapshots. Elves will be on hand to assist and give out small holiday treats.

- Food and Beverage Stalls: Enjoy a variety of food trucks and stalls offering seasonal favorites like hot cocoa, mulled cider, gingerbread cookies, and savory snacks.
- Community Booths: Learn more about local organizations and initiatives at the community booths set up around the event area.
