A series of informal "meet and greet" open house sessions will be held in several areas of the county for residents and other interested persons to meet new Hillsborough County Development Services Department Director Adam Gormly and his leadership team.
Gormly began the new position in May and has 17 years of experience in all areas of planning and development including a broad range of land use issues. He also has an extensive knowledge of the County organization and community, including the spectrum of building codes, the zoning process, development review, and long range comprehensive and transportation planning. Gormly is also a member of the Florida Bar and board certified in City, County and Local Government Law.
The purpose of the "meet and greet" is for the community to become acquainted with Development Services key staff as well as to hear information from the new director regarding priorities and future goals for the department.
Residents will also learn about the County's development process and resources available to facilitate obtaining necessary reviews, licenses, permits and inspections.
Residents are welcome to attend.
