Dueling Divas: An Evening of Worship

The United Methodist Church of Sun City Center is happy to announce that two of the finest vocalists in the area will be presenting a program entitled Dueling Divas on Friday, January 22nd at 7PM in the church sanctuary.  Amanda Jordan and Kathy Straub, both members of the Church, will be singing some of their favorite Christian songs with an emphasis on female contemporary Christian artists.  Kathy will kick off the evening of worship with a great old favorite - Albert Hay Malotte's setting of the 23^rd Psalm, and then most of the rest of the evening will feature classic songs by female artists from Sandi Patti to Francesca Battistelli.  The concert will conclude with the 'Divas' teaming up for a rendition of Michael w. Smith's classic Friends.  Amanda's husband, Jeff, will MC the event.
