Free Form Art Therapy

Center Place is excited to announce a new partnership with Hillsborough County and The Down Syndrome Society of Tampa Bay (DSATB). Thanks to a generous grant from the county, Center Place will be offering two FREE art therapy programs for children! Center Place will be offering a FREE art therapy program called Free Form Art for elementary, middle school, and high school students on Tuesdays starting October 5. The elementary students’ art therapy class will be held on Tuesdays at Center Place from 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. The middle school and high school students’ classes will be held from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. This program will benefit children who have had some form of trauma in their lives and will help them to express their feelings through art. This class will help them move past their personal struggles and improve their ability to communicate and address their emotions. If you would like to pre-register your child for this program, please contact Center Place at (813) 685-8888. Children and families must be pre-screened for this program before they may register.
