Hillsborough County Land Use Appeals Board (Hybrid)

Description

This Land Use Appeals Board (LUAB) is a hybrid quasi-judicial hybrid public hearing held the first Friday of the month, unless indicated otherwise. If there are no appeals filed, the hearing will be canceled.

All appeals to the LUAB are limited to the record of the original public hearing and no new testimony or evidence may be introduced. LUAB may uphold the decision of the LUHO, or it may remand the case back to the original Hearing Officer for reconsideration on specific issues. LUAB also determines whether a person or entity has standing to appeal or intervene in an appeal at the hearing.
