Hillsborough’s Haunted Highway (A Drive-thru Halloween Experience)

Description

Hillsborough County Parks and Recreation Department is inviting local community organizations and clubs to showcase their fall spirit by decorating an assigned 10’x10’ outdoor space with a holiday scene.  Local families and community members will be invited to attend the drive-thru on October 30, 2020.  This innovative and safe holiday experience will include families slowly driving their personal vehicle through a designated outdoor route with interesting sights and sounds showcased by local organizations.  The route will end with a one-time, contactless goodie-bag distribution.  Hillsborough County recreation staff will distribute the bags on a tray through each vehicle window.  Goodie bags will include treats, toys, business cards and information from the local organizations.  Each assigned outdoor space will be 12 feet or more from others and can only be occupied by up to two individuals at a time.  Please contact Renee Graham for more information.
