Honor Flight Welcome Home

Honor Flight of West Central Florida will be flying Mission 13 on Oct 8, 2013.  The Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce invites you to join them as they welcome home these WWII Veterans and their Guardians.

This is definitely an experience you will NEVER forget.  The plane will be filled with approximately 80 World War II Veterans that have been to Washington DC for the day to see THEIR memorial, many for the first and only time.  Each vet will be accompanied by a volunteer guardian.  Many of the guardians on this Mission 13 come from right here in our area.  Folks like Tammy Holmberg of Chick-fil-A @ Lake Brandon Village, Marie Gilmore and Suzy Wiesenhart of the Osprey Observer, Peter Farnan of Grimebuster's Pressure Washing, Erik Butler, The TakeOut Butler will be thrilled to see our Riverview crowd there to welcome them back.

We are arranging bus transportation for the evening and Tammy will be treating us to dinner at Chick-fil-A.   All this for the LOW cost of $15 per person!!!! Any profits gained through this event will be donated to Honor Flight of West Central Florida.  :-)

We will meet AT Chick-fil-A and eat dinner between the hours 6:30 - 7:15 PM, then board the bus and head to the St. Pete Airport for the plane's 8:30 PM scheduled arrival.  We should make it back to the Chick-fil-A parking lot around 11:00 PM (and yes we have permission to leave our cars there, just no overnight).
