Memorial Day Honor to Fallen
Description
The community is invited to join in honoring U.S. military men and women from all branches of service who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Speakers at the event representing active duty military members, county leadership, and Gold Star Families will offer local perspectives on the true meaning of Memorial Day.
In addition to a color guard, rifle salute, wreath ceremony, and playing of taps, the event will feature:
- Colonel Mathew Reudi, U.S. Central Command
- Sandra Murman, Chairman, Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners
- Singer Charles Haugabrooks
- Refreshments courtesy of VFW Post 8108
