Pretty in Pink Luncheon and Seminar

Description

According to the American Cancer Society, one out eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. On October 26th, South Bay Hospital is taking some time to revisit the facts about breast cancer with their annual Pretty in Pink luncheon and seminar event to help women make the healthiest decision for them.

It will start at 12 noon and run to 1:30pm followed by a tour of the hospital’s new Outpatient Imaging Center from 1:45pm to 2:15pm. Expert presenters will provide information about breast cancer prevention, treatment and surgery.
 
This year’s presenters will include, Angela Watt, MD, Radiologist, Kimberly Giffard, MD, General Surgery and Jenna Kazil, MD, General and Vascular Surgery.  Registration is required. To register, call (888) 685-1595.

South Bay is hoping that women at risk will make the decision to talk with their doctor or to help raise awareness by sharing information with friends.  Everyone can do something small to help fight breast cancer.
