Description
Circle K International (CKI) at the Hillsborough Community College (HCC) Brandon Campus will be collecting new, unused children’s socks between October 1, 2017 and October 31, 2017. The socks collected will be donated to students in need at local elementary schools in conjunction with the Kiwanis of Greater Brandon’s annual shoe drive. If the number of socks collected exceeds the need of Kiwanis, the extra socks will be donated to various children’s homes and transition homes in the Tampa Bay area.
Those wishing to participate may drop off new, unused socks in the designated box in the advising and counseling lobby of the Brandon Campus Student Services Building. Those wishing to donate but are unable to come to campus, please can contact Ryan Brown at rbrown62@hccfl.edu to arrange pick up.
This event was created by one of HCC’s students and received immediate support from the members of CKI and our Kiwanis counterparts. This is one of three giving drives CKI at HCC Brandon is excited to host this year.
CKI is an international collegiate service organization that is a sponsored leadership program of Kiwanis International. CKI at HCC Brandon is sponsored by the Kiwanis of Greater Brandon.
