St. Patrick's Day Race
Description
The Shamrock Classic 10k/5k/1 Mile Fun Run course begins right outside of the race's main sponsor O'Brien's Irish Pub on Kings and Lumsden Road. The course is a flat, fast, 1.5 miles out and back distance heading South towards Bloomingdale on Kings.
Runners and walkers have the option of participating in the following:
- 5k - Starts at 8am
- 10k - Starts at 8am
- 1 mile fun run - Starts at 9:45am
Shapes Fitness for Women will help lead some warmups prior to the run from 7:30-7:45 am. And Fuzzy's Taco Shop will be sampling their delicious cuisine as a vendor.
Packet Pickup Packet consists of gender specific race shirt and chipped bib for 10K and 5K participants. No shirt/bib for 1-milers. Race Day packet pick-up will be in the outside patio area at O'Brien's Irish Pub starting at 6:30 a.m. If you would like to avoid the packet pick-up lines on race day morning, pre-race day packet pick-up will be available on Friday, March 16 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at O'Brien's (located inside the restaurant). Also, stay to enjoy food/drinks at O’Brien’s and show your bib to your server to receive 10% off your bill that Friday!
