Description
A former foster child and social worker, and a longtime volunteer at Hillsborough County’s Children’s Services, Nicole Marchman, 34, was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, but continues to mentor youth. To support Marchman and recognize her years of selfless service, Children’s Services employees and the kids they serve will hold a sunflower garden dedication ceremony. Youth in Children’s Services programs will later harvest and donate the sunflowers, along with cards of support, to local cancer patients.
