VA Outpatient Clinic Ground Breaking

Description

The ground breaking will take place in an open field/construction site. As such they have decided to move the entry point to the back end of the field which is accessible via Fairway Meadows Dr. The address 11100 Fairway Meadows Dr. Riverview, FL 33579 will get you there – the road dead ends at the field.
 
Since the field is not accessible or safe for our wheelchair-bound and less able-bodied guests, they will have shaded, reserved seating for them on the road with the ceremony taking place directly next to it. They will still be able to see everything and they will have concierge volunteers serve them, but they won’t be at risk of getting stuck or hurt.

James. A. Haley Verterans' Hospital and Hokanson Companies, Inc. will be hosting a Groundbreaking Ceremony and Reception to announce the construction of the South Hillsborough (So-Hi) Community - Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) that will serve more than 10,000 patients in the Apollo Beach/Riverview/Ruskin/Sun City Center communities.  Just like their four other CBOCs, this 50,000-square-foot facility will provide much-needed services like primary care, mental and behavioral health treatment, physical therapy, radiology, lad and telemedicine services for Veterans closer to home. 

They are inviting our Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce members to take part in the celebration of this very exciting addition to our community.  Please be sure to RSVP by May 16th, as they will be serving light refreshments.

The ceremony will be held at 12920 Summerfield Crossing Blvd, which is very near the intersection of US Hwy 301 South in Riverview.
